An experience unlike any other.

This recording is an experience unlike any other. Panzer Dragoon exemplifies modern gaming sound quality, with compositional quality to match. This entire disk maintains a haunting, ethereal quality, whether within the constraints of classical or rock. The opening fanfare is thrilling and a symphonic masterpiece. The ending matches, and is especially effective in the game when shown with Moebius' artwork on-screen. Tracks 4 through 15 are action-oriented rock tracks, but by no means are they standard game rock. They maintain the mood of the rest of the recording very well and, when playing the game, keep the action somehow ethereal. The final tracks, 18 and 20, are pure new age music, and are simply phenomenal. Interestingly, the sound quality on the recording is better than it is on the game CD. This CD surpasses all others, and is not only my favorite game music CD, but also one of my all-time favorite CDs period. This is worship music.
