Anyone to be going to this one??

I'm going with a friend. Two other RPGFan staff members will also be there.

I read on the site that our feature music for the show will be from "Prey." Whoop-dee-frickin-doo.

I hope for some decent stuff from this show though. ^^

yeah, Prey wasn't anything special. I found the first half of the show somewhat disappointing, the second half was pretty damn good though. I think I was moved the most by the Chrono Trigger/Cross songs, especially the CT main theme (Brink of Time?) It would've been perfect if they had taken a break from showing the musicians (or at least just put them on the left and right screens) and showed the anime intro in its entirety. That way it would've seemed like I was really watching it on a PlayStation hooked up to a $15,000 sound system.

I wish they had performed FF7's Overworld theme instead of Aeris's song. I've always been very impressed with the section that starts at 4:07 (track 17) on the Reunion Tracks cd and to hear it live would've been beautiful.
And if they HAVE to insist on Aeris's theme, um, what happened to the death scene cgi footage?

Also, instead of Super Mario Bros. I think EarthBound would've been a better choice.
And why no SNK representation?

Too bad we missed Castlevania, I wonder what song(s) they're planning. Anyways, I enjoyed the show on the whole and I'm glad I went.
