I'm looking for the music from the opening movie in wild arms but I searched all over and it doesn't seem to be on any soundtrack. Does anyone know if this exists like in an orchestra version or something?
Thanks, Brad

The whistle theme from the PS1 Wild Arms?
I believe "To the End of the Wilderness" is on no less than 3 soundtracks: Wild Arms Original Game Soundtrack, Wild Arms Complete Tracks, and WILD ARMS Alter code:F ORIGINAL SCORE.
Do you mean the music played during the anime scene? That track is called "Into the Wilderness". It is on both original Wild Arms OST and the "Complete" OST from this year, and also on the Wild Arms Code F OST. It was also arranged on the "Feeling Wind" WA Piano album.
Unless there's another track you're thinking of...
Edit: ^ Beaten.
While we're on the subject of the original Wild Arms, does the "Complete Tracks" have that credits theme that was exclusive to the U.S. / European version? The one that replaced the Japanese version's "A Promise To The Blue Sky"?
Thanks, Goldfish, I had no idea WA had a piano album.
Psychotron, the song, "Into the Wilderness" can also be found on the Wild Arms Twilight Venom anime soundtrack.
Angela, I haven't played that game in so long that I don't even recall what the music was at the end credits.

No, it doesn't, unfortunately.

Rats, rats, rats. "Complete Tracks" my fanny..... >_<; I suppose the game recordings will still have to suffice.
Ryu, this is the track in question; a lovely medley suite, it is:
It is sad that it isn't as complete as it claims. Thanks for the mp3 though, Angela!

Hello, I'm a long time lurker here, but I registered just so I could reply to this! ^^;
I'm not 100% sure of this (as my mag backlog is in storage) but I'm pretty sure the issue of Die Hard Game Fan Magazine that reviewed Wild Arms when it first released credited Tommy Talarico for doing the ending theme.
However, after just checking his page, he doesn't have a credit for Wild Arms listed, so I suppose he didn't do it, but I do know that this track was newly composed at the request of Sony, and I don't think the original sound team did it, so it wouldn't be on the cd.

I don't see how the lack of non-Japanese music on a Japanese soundtrack goes again any claim.

yeah, I'm almost certain Tommy did it. He was being hired left and right to replace Japanese vocals during the early PS1 days, before they realized "oh, it's okay to keep the vocal in..."
Along with the Wild Arms ending, I know he also did the Tales of Destiny US opening (which I ALSO don't think he has credited on his site...does he?).
I actually emailed him about these songs *years* ago, requesting that he stick the songs on one of his compilations. He says he doesn't have the rights to the songs, so he can't; it's a huge shame.

Ah, thanks for that clarification, myaje and Ramza. Still, it is a pity they couldn't find a way to include the track.
