Just curious....SCIII OST comes with a DVD. What region is it?
(for that matter, what's the box like?)

It is region 2, and is kept in the same case as the OST.
What content does the DVD contain?
The case lists the following:
-New Souls ~Characters~
-Forging the Motion ~Motion Capture~
-Sound in the Making
-PEACEFUL DAYS ~Music Clip~ (Piano Version)
I assume it's making-of type stuff. I lack the power to watch non Region 1 DVDs, so I can't say for sure.
Interesting.
(for that matter, what's the box like?)
Your standard three-disc jewel case. R2, yes, but if you've got a DVD-ROM drive, you can easily decrypt it into viewable files using something like DVD Decrypter.
-New Souls ~Characters~
Footage portraying a montage of both old and new characters, with the emphasis on the new characters Tira, Zasalamel and Setsuka. This is interpersed with footage from the Namco Hometek development team, showing the hand-drawn creation of their designs, and in-game cutscenes. It plays out as a sort of musical showcasing too, as there's no talking involved whatsoever; just pure music as accompaniment. The same goes for the rest of the features.
-Forging the Motion ~Motion Capture~
The most interesting of the four features, showing footage from both the live actors and actresses who supplied the motion capture stunts for the game, and comparison footage from the opening movie sequence.
-Sound in the Making
Footage of Namco composers Junichi Nakatsuru, Ryuichi Takada, and Keiki Kobayashi, as well as the sound stages and the recording/mixing studios. Again, as the 'documentary' is presented entirely by music, there's not much being told in the actual creation of the music.
-PEACEFUL DAYS ~Music Clip~ (Piano Version)
In-game footage trailer, showcasing the more tender ending movie sequences in the game, with, of course, the piano version of Peaceful Days playing in the background.
All in all, a neat bonus that clocks in at just over nineteen minutes. It's not an entirely informative DVD, but it's an entertaining watch while it lasts.
