I'd love to give this one a go, provided I can actually find a place that carries it. Any ideas?
That d-pad; is its feel like a conventional pad, or more analog stick/nub-like?
it uses micro-switches. i'd say it feels like something like a conventional d-pad and arcade stick, something in the middle. and you will hear clicking sounds while playing. i'll send you a pm.
Here's three more SF related videos. I wonder if Angela trains as hard as the guy in the first video.

I dunno, man. That TE stick would be a beast to lug around. I'd get arm cramps fast.
I received the NeoGeo Pad that Pellasos had recommended earlier. It's a nicely built controller, but I found I can't swing too well with it when playing Street Fighter. The d-pad is not unlike the circle pad featured on the 3DS, which means I'm having a hard time figuring out where the diagonals meet for things like angle jumping and lower blocking. Maybe I just need to concentrate more on the click points.
It's a great controller for non-fighters, though. Games like Mega Man 9 and 10, Hard Corps Uprising, and the Söldner-X titles are a joy to play on the thing.
I haven't picked up the Arcade Edition DLC nor am I am at the level of technical proficiency to understand the finer points of balance tweaks, so I would love to hear our resident Street Fighter queen's assessment of Joystiq's rather damning review of the changes:

I'm not a queen*, but yeah, everything written is pretty accurate. The twins are considered pretty unstoppable and are probably the two best characters in the game. Even Daigo Umehara (the world champ of SF4) said he's going to be playing Yun, except for the one bad matchup he has with Zangief. Makoto and Fei Long (two relatively weak characters from the other two games) have been buffed significantly and occupy two more of the high tier spots now. I know Fei's rekkas got buffed, not sure what the deal is with Makoto, but she needed a LOT of improvement. My friend is upset Rufus Ultra 2 tornado got nerfed (it doesn't hit full for an anti-air now).
And yes, the creators did state they were seeking to make Arcade Edition unbalanced on purpose. It's not a translation goof, like half the Street Fighter community thought it was.
*jk, I know what you meant.
I only played a few rounds of AE so far, and most of them were spent playing as the four new characters. Yun and Yang definitely are powerhouses. I think I'm really going to enjoy using Yang in particular; he's got a devious anti-air, his Ultra 1 seems really easy to connect, and I foresee some kick-ass chain combos when properly unleashing his "Seiei Enbu" Super.

That's kind of stupid. Just to to force people to try new characters? Odd.
i played IV religiously, super not so much and i will skip AE either entirely, or get it much later. i can't stand bad balance. my next fighting game will be king of fighters XIII.
I download AE tonight. I don't think I'm good enough for the finer points of the changes to mean much to me, so I just messed around with some of the new characters. Evil Ryu and Oni are pretty worthless as far as additions go, but I like some of things Yun & Yang can do. It's kind of annoying that they didn't add trails for the new characters because that's a good way to learn combos.
Also, does anyone know of a site that has move list cards that are in an easily printable format? A buddy directed me to wiki.shoryuken.com, but the lists aren't in a format that looks any good when you try to print them. Thanks.

Awesome. We have to hook up with Skurdy/Jay and go a few rounds.

Been looking for something similar myself. Madcatz was cool enough to include actual cards with the first model of the Tournament Fightstick, but that was for characters specific to Vanilla SFIV only. It'd be great to have something more up to date for Super/AE.

Definitely. Been awhile since we had a three-way.

Skurdy recommended this link to Capcom's Japanese site that has PDFs for the cards for the arcade machine plus indiviudal cards for every character at the bottom. It would be perfect if it wasn't in Japanese. I guess I'll have to look up the kanji for the different attack strengths and the "in air" kanji. If I know that much, I should be able to read the rest of it.
「心殺技」Looks like a made-up Kanji compound. "Heart Kill Technique/Art" or if you prefer, "Special Move".
※Command is for when the character is facing the right direction. [Special Moves] have a grey background.
[Blue Box] mark means the Special Move can be performed as an EX Special Move.
[Thunderbolt] mark means the Special Move has Armour Break properties.
[Super Combos] have an orange background.
[Ultra Combos] have a red background.
「同時押し」Press at the same time.
「弱」Weak punch/kick.
「中」Medium punch/kick.
「強」Strong punch/kick.
「連打」Beat/barrage? With the benefit of context, this is obviously "repeatedly press".
「タメ」No idea what this is on first view (and why it's in katakana), but again with the benefit of context, this is "hold directional button". If I was to take a guess, I would say that 「タメ」stands for the verb「溜める」which means to accumulate or collect. In this case, it means to "store" power.
「空中可」Possible (to perform) in mid-air.
「空中で」(While) in mid-air.
For M. Bison:「タメて離す」Hold and then release (button).
For Balrog: 「三角跳び後で追加攻撃」An additional attack after a/the triangle jump.
For Balrog (Ultra Combo right below the above): 「Rolling Izuna Drop」At close range, after the「Flying Barcelona Special」.

You rock! Thanks much!
Picked it up today on the cheap. I already own the vanilla SF4 Special Edition (I refuse to open that beast), but this is the better version anyways.
Juri is fun as hell to use. Stupid sexy Taekwondo.
Kotaku reported this yesterday, and yes, it is all kinds of awesome: Street Fighter Stop Motion
That was seriously impressively. I love stop motion in general and that one was just so well done. Very nice!
Awesome Balrog mockumentary:
I think it's funny that the original SF4 made fighting games relevant again by going back to the game's roots and simplifying things. That was 2009. Now Capcom's back to catering specifically to the ultra hardcore as this trailer of SS4AEv2012 minutiae displays:

Well, three things:
1. The update is free.
2. The update was originally not planned (AE was supposed to be the final version of SFIV).
3. Many of the balances are subtle, but considering only a handful of characters were actually improved when going from Super to AE and most of the cast worse (making not only Yun, Yang and Fei Long top tier, but everyone else around them weaker), this patch should be seen as a good thing for the game. If you've played against a good Yun, you'll see what I mean.

Oh, I agree with that. It's just that it's a ridiculous trailer. Bethesda doesn't release a trailer to get people excited about the latest round of bug fixes in Skyrim.
For those who care, Capcom has all of the costume packs for Super SF4 on sale this week on PSN. Version 2012 is also out as a free title update to Arcade Edition.
