Infinite pistol ammo means you should be able to beat it without backtracking from room to room for three hours avoiding zombies.

So, it's basically House of the Dead with horrible voice acting. Yeah, might be fun, but what I enjoyed most about RE was solving puzzles while avoiding the zombies (hence the "survival" in survival horror). That being said, this could be very fun!

Pretty much, man. I think it's going to be a good cheap thrills game, sans puzzles and frustrating item management.

Was there a House of the Dead without horrible voice acting?

The trailer looks ever so slightly better than the absolute rubbish I was expecting. Hope there's an option to shut the characters up.
